Lions Services to the Community
The Lions provide many services to the Bel Air community and Central Maryland and promote the spirit of community service in our community and our youth.
Vision services include eye screening; eyeglass collection and distribution; vision testing and glasses for the needy; supporting service dogs for individuals in need.
In addition, the Lions provide hearing aids for those who can not afford them; help send youth to diabetes camps to learn to manage their condition; operate a medical lending closet to provide wheelchairs, walkers and other items to those in need; provide donations to many youth programs at local schools; provide scholarships to local high school students to promote community service; support many Bel Air activities including the annual 4th of July celebrations, Child Safety day, Festival for the Arts, and Rockfield Manor Garden of the Senses.
