2026 Bel Air Town Derby
Join Us Sunday, May 17, 2026!
The Bel Air Lions have brought back the Town Derby as a fun, family, community event. Bel Air had similar races down Main Street in the 1960s. The new Bel Air Town Derby as quickly become a major community celebration.
Derby 2026 marks the fourth event.

When, Where, What?
- This is a free (no cost of admission) event
- Sunday May 17, 2026, Main Street closes at 7 am to 2 PM; Racing 8:30 am – 12:30 noon
- Main Street Bel Air
- There will be 32 cars racing in a series of two car heats
- Plus a special added event of two “Super Racers” runs (Two person exhibition races for Special Needs Kids)
