DESCRIPTION:The MD 22 Convention will be held at the  Lodge at Wisp \, May 1-4\, 2025.  Each District holds Business Meetings in conjunction with the Multiple District 22 Convention for the purpose of discussion and/or action on those matters considered in the best interest of Lionism\, as well as the election of a District Governor\, a 1st Vice District Governor\, and a 2nd Vice District Governor. At the first Business Meetings the Nominations Chair will review the nominations he/she has received and request first and second nominating speeches. At the second Business Meetings elections will be held. \n So\, why attend the convention? It’s fun!\nMeet and network with Lions from around the Multiple District. Informative Seminars. Participate in our Elections! Why hold office? It’s fun! Meet and network with Lions from around your District and the Multiple Districts. We need you! \nReserve your room for the Convention by calling the The Wisp Resort. The Wisp Resort will Host the Lions Multiple District 22 Convention May 1-4\, 2025 \nStay 3 nights at the Lodge at Wisp and get the 3rd night 50% of when you sign up for the 3\, 2\, 1 lodging package by November 1\, 2024. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text] \nBel Air Lions Attend Multiple District 22 Convention\nLions John Mosier\, Dave and Sandy Guzewich attended the MD-22 Convention in Ocean City on April 20-23rd.\nThe election process for district governor and vice district governors began with nomination on Saturday morning followed by social gathering on Saturday evening. \nElections were held Sunday. There was one ballot for district governor and for approval of the new district constitution and bylaws. There was a second ballot to vote for international director. Each club gets votes based on the number of members.
