The Bel Air Town Derby

The Bel Air Lions have been asked by the Town of Bel Air, to host a new, fun, family event for the Town, “The Bel Air Town Derby”, fall 2023. The purpose of this event is to hold a new, Main Street Bel Air event, that will encourage families to come into Bel Air to enjoy all that Bel Air has to offer, and to begin a new tradition in Bel Air. This will be a fun an exciting event to race Derby Cars down the Main Street of Bel Air.

 

When, Where, What?

  • This is a free (no cost of admission) event.
  • Sunday October 22nd 2023, 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
  • Main Street Bel Air, between Office Street and Lee Way.
  • There will be 10 cars racing in a series of two car heats.
  • This is not a Lion’s fund-raising event.  The goal is to have a safe and fun event.
  • Only “Stock” cars will be permitted. “Super Stock” and “Masters” will not be permitted this year.
