Second Full Cabinet Meeting

Please mark your calendars for our 2nd Cabinet Meeting on Friday, January 13th, 2012 at the Crown Plaza Timonium, 2004 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, Md. 21093. Social time will begin at 6:00 p.m. with dinner following at 6:45 p.m. The meal choices are Italian Lasagna or Chicken Parmesan.  The price is $23 per person.

“Lions Leadership Institute” at Emmittsburg

The “Multiple District 22 Regional “Lions Leadership Institute” will be conducted February 17-19, 2012, at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmittsburg, Maryland.  This institute is a premier leadership development/improvement event that provides exceptional learning experiences for ALL Lions, including aspiring Lion leaders, as well as current Lion leaders.  Both the Basic Institute and the Advanced Institute will be offered. If you have already attended the Basic Institute, you won’t want to miss the Advanced Institute! Topics covered during the weekend range from Public Speaking, Diversity, Conflict Resolution, Communication, How to Conduct Effective Meetings, and many others. Aside from the workshops, you will have opportunities to interact with Lions from throughout MD22 and gain much information about what they do to improve the effectiveness of their Clubs and their Clubs’ community services. You will also learn good traits and qualities about yourself that have been hidden and waiting to be discovered! If you are a current Club officer, if you are thinking about becoming a Club officer or a District Officer, or if you want to improve yourself for better job, social and/or family-related performances, this Institute is for YOU!

Christmas Trees Sale

  Wow, we had another great year with the tree sales.  We will have a report at the next meeting.  Thanks to everyone who worked on this project.

SICK CALL....

    Lion Mark Schultz suffered a "minor" heart attack a short time ago. The doctors have adjusted his medications to treat this condition. He is doing OK, and I believe is at home. That is all the information I have at this time. If anyone has additional information, please let me know.

    Please keep Lion Mark, his wife Barbara, and his family in you thoughts and prayers during this time of healing and recovery. Cards and phone calls are appropriate.
